CLP offers two styles of electroblotter: semi-dry and tank. The device
uses the traditional stainless steel, platinized titanium electrodes
seen in almost all semi-dry blotters. The tank electroblotter is a small
tank blotter designed to blot minigels. The acrylic blotting chamber
encloses platinum wire electrode panels and can accommodate up to 4
blotting cassettes. A cooling chamber in the base allows cold water to
be circulated to cool the transfer buffer

The CLP-200 is capable of producing 200 volts or 2,000 mA of power and
can operate in constant voltage or constant current modes. Ideal for
SDS-PAGE, 2D Electrophoresis and electroblotting. The CLP-300 is capable
of producing 300 volts or 500mA or power and can operate in constant
voltage or constant current modes. The output makes this power supply
ideal for submarine electrophoresis
The Apollo brand Concentrators combine the excellent protein retention
of regenerated cellulose membranes with a significantly faster
concentration time to give optimized concentration of protein samples.
The concentrators improve biosafety by eliminating aerosol generation
(without air locking), and by eliminating need for hand contact with
wetted surfaces (no invert spin required)
UV Crosslinkers allow UV energy to “crosslink” DNA or RNA to
nitrocellulose, nylon or nylon-reinforced transfer membranes as a
practical alternative to high temperature treatment. UV energy completes
in seconds what would otherwise take almost 2 hours at 80C. CLP’s
crosslinkers feature electronic ballast which provides instant start-up
with no line flicker, longer tube life and no ballast hum
New Infinite-Variable Intensity Electronic Transilluminators allow
researchers to adjust the UV intensity from 100% down to 0% during gel
preparation to minimize photo-nicking of gels, then raise the intensity
to whatever level is needed for maximum fluorescence. At the 100%
position, the intensity on the mid-range filter is over 9000
microwatts/cm
CLP’s Vertical Device Combs are made of robust acrylic and come in
varying teeth sizes from 10-36 and thickness of 0.75 and 1.5. MT Format
combs are microtiter format combs. The teeth in these combs are spaced
at 9mm or 4.5mm center-to-center distances so that the wells formed will
be compatible with 8 channel and 12 channel Pipettors
