detection of
cytomegalovirus in
paraffin embedded
tissue.
ZytoFast CMV
ISH systems are
adjusted to detect
CMV at the DNA level.
However, the
employed
oligonucleotides are
directed against the
sequence of the ”CMV
early ß” gene and
will also allow
detection of the
”early ß gene” RNA,
which is expressed
during all stages of
infection.
